How did you learn to draw?

I’m a self-taught artist. I became interested in drawing when i was younger, around the time when Dragon Ball Z & Sailor Moon were still airing on TV. Being heavily inspired mainly by these two series affected my style of drawing.

Back then i used to record the episodes onto VHS and pause them at the specific image i wanted to draw. I’d then sit in front of the TV with paper and pencil, trying to copy the drawing, frequently looking up at the screen to make sure i got everything exact.

Eventually i tried branching out and drawing my own characters. And so, with a lot of practise, from randomly doodling at home or in school and on their tables! my drawing style improved.
